Cost Rules

If you would like to join this COST Action please ensure that you read the guidance notes published on the COST website. You can find full documentation regarding general rules and guidelines for COST Actions at http://www.cost.eu/participate.

STSM

Short Term Scientific Missions (STSMs) are exchange visits aimed at young scientists to support individual mobility, strengthen existing networks and foster collaboration between COST Action Participants.

A STSM should specifically contribute to the scientific objectives of the COST Action, whilst at the same time allowing those partaking in the missions to learn new techniques, gain access to specific data, instruments and/ or methods not available in their own institutions/ organisations.

Per grant period, several STSMs will take place.

Eligibility

STSM applicants must be engaged in an official research programme as a PhD student or postdoctoral fellow or may be employed by, or affiliated to, an institution or legal entity which has within its remit a clear association with performing research.

Apply

If you have an idea for an STSM – as either a host or as a potential trainee – please contact Dr Andrikovics, who coordinates all applications for Short Term Scientific Missions for the Action using andrikovics.hajnalka@gmail.com
